Weekend Blog Love

I recently cleaned out my feed reader and deleted a couple of hundred blogs which had fallen silent or were no longer exciting me when they posted. After my endeavours I was still left with around 700 blogs – I know.

I love my feed reader; it may be ridiculously over-filled but for half an hour before I fall asleep it’s where I go to catch up with the latest loves and wonderings from around the world. I haven’t had my reader down below 1,000 unread items since Betsy was born and I rarely jump off my phone to leave the comments I’d like to but reading blogs remains a daily delight.

I wanted to share some of my favourite blogs with you so from time to time I’ll be introducing you to the blogs I’m reading over the weekend in Weekend Blog Love.

Rusty Rambles

Is written by my friend Bryony who has recently moved her blogging to a new, and beautifully designed, space.

She and her husband Tom live on the Isle of Wight where they walk, cycle, bake and create.

Being a bit slow on the uptake I hadn’t spotted Bryony had moved her site so I’ve been catching up on all the late Summer and early Autumn goodness in her life.

Visit Rusty Rambles for glimpses of a simple and happy life well lived.

Little Buckles

I wish I could climb inside Andrea’s photos and live there. Her perspective and how she captures light are an inspiration to me.

Based in France with her young family, Andrea blogs about the beauty in their days.

Not only does Andrea have a beautiful blog but she has two Etsy shops: Rhubarb & Apples and  Petit Bonhomme where you can find an eclectic mix of vintage French finds and handmade cushions.

Che & Fidel

Che and Fidel is written by Jodi whose gentle and caring spirit shines through in her writing.

Jodi and her family live on the East Coast of Australia. Both she and her partner work from home; balancing creative work with their family life.

Jodi is in the midst of a sweet 52 project to capture and share a portrait of each of her children every week in 2012.

Little Red Buttons

Abby has been a long time blog love of mine. I have been so glad to be reading her posts once more following her blog break.

Abby and her family always seem to have so much fun visiting interesting places near where they live.

I’m currently waiting for Abby to break out her Emma Bridgewater Christmas collection…

Who is lighting up your reader this weekend?

Please feel free to add your current favourite in the comments – I’m a sucker for a great blog!
