Once upon a time I bought magazines frequently, pouring through their pages in the hope of finding a connection. It never really happened for me until I began to read blogs.
Bloggers cut to the heart of the matter and I have never looked back to the old days of print alienation. Yet there is something lovely about flicking through a magazine which brings together a collection of features in harmony.
Thank goodness for online magazines! All the wonderful talent from the blogging world in one delicious publication. I thought you might like to know what I’m reading these days so here are my absolute favourites.
91 Magazine has been rocking the virtual shelves since 2011. For me it is the perfect homes magazine. It is a great place to come for interesting and achievable interiors ideas. In addition you’ll find fun DIYs, interviews and home tours as well as recipes – oh my, the soups in the latest issue are tempting! Bravo Caroline & the team.

Confessions of a Design Geek is the blog of Katie Treggiden. At this year’s London Design Festival not only did Katie curate a graduate design stand, put on a design blog tour and get herself around the shows she has managed to write an entire magazine review of LDF. Seriously -how much energy? Whether you were there or not Katie’s London Design Review is a fab read and will tip you off on many names to watch.

Sweet Paul is a long established title and has a passionate following. Quite simply, Paul’s love for food and craft sings from every page. The magazine is a collaboration of people who share Paul’s passions and it is the closest you can come to a great meal without eating. I am constantly bewitched by the photography and this Autumn’s issue is no exception – a delight from beginning to end!
Check out Sweet Paul Issue 14 – Fall 2013 and be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the Kids Holiday issue on November 10th.
The Hambledon will always have a special place in my heart for being the first shop which awoke me to the non-High Street world. Their brand new Autumn lookbook is a thing of wonder. Beware before you start flicking – you might get a severe case of the wanties…
