Having seen the gorgeous invitations Catherine at Bristol Parenting Cafe has made I couldn’t shake the idea from my head. So when it came time to make some invitations for Milla’s birthday I couldn’t resist my own take on Catherine’s designs. The birthday girls have given it their approval which is just as well as Monty woke up and scoffed the strawberries.
I can hardly believe that in little over a month my first baby will turn four. Four? Where did all of that time go? I feel like she’s only just taken her first steps yet here she is ready to step into the next phase of her life. With a place at school for September our days are numbered. Hopefully we will be able to enjoy every last one of them.

I love this, lots
Love this! May have to ‘borrow’ the idea for my daughter’s 2nd Birthday in June…….
This looks even better on my laptop screen. Love this so much.
I love this, it’s beautiful! Maia is four in eleven sleeps. It’s blowing my mind…
As usual, you rock!
Totally gorgeous, with invites like that it’s a party I want to come to!

FAB! This is fab! x
Oh that is fantastic! I love it!
This is just so pretty! A great idea for any card, I guess. My mum’s just turned 50…I might make something for her, I fancy.
How do you feel about it? Monty turning 4 in August and then starting school in September makes me well up each and every time I think of it. And also makes me all the more determined to make the most of this special time.
I don’t really know how I feel!
gorgeous ! Hope you don’t mind me borrowing your idea one day….
Hello Kat and lovely family. This is absolutely gorgeous – I love the carefree feel of it, and so summery, too. Magical. Thank you for the wee link too.
So glad you like (and aren’t mad for me copying!)
That is absolutely gorgeous. It must have been a pleasure to put it together and photograph – looks so fresh and delicious!
