Weekend Blog Love
Welcome to another week of Weekend Blog Love. I’m not sure yet whether this will be a weekly or bi-weekly fixture (do let me know which you would prefer) but either way it will be a regular spot on Housewife Confidential. Kat xoxo
I have been reading Alicia’s blog forever – it’s one of those fixtures in my reader that feels like walking down a childhood street.
Since she shared the news that she and Andy were in the pool awaiting adoption I have hoped and hoped that their wait would come to an end.
This week it did and I am so happy for their joy.
Whenever I’m in need of a spice fix (frequently) I stop by Maunika Gowardhan’s blog for ideas.
I’m yet to try a recipe I don’t love and adore the personal background she gives to each dish.
I only wish I lived in the North so I could attend her Indian cookery classes.
Cara is an incredibly talented Wedding Photographer whose images are pure wonder to behold.
Her blog is a mix of photography, family and inspiration with plenty of suitably dark humour.
She and her family are relocating from Scotland to London and she has opened a family photography business called Bird and Bear. If you’re looking to have some special images of your family life captured I urge you to check her out.
I love reading about the journey of first-time parents. It is such a special time in life which I never tire of hearing about.
Written by Mrs Biddle about life with her son Albert this blog is a ray of sunlight in my reader.
I love Mrs B’s style and her recent shoe purchase has added another pair of Dr Marten’s to my wishlist (alongside the the yellow pair I will make mine).
Who is lighting up your reader this weekend?
Please feel free to add your current favourite in the comments – I’m a sucker for a great blog!

Hey Super Kat – love the blog love post, always in the market for more good reads.
Blog I am loving at the moment is http://tygertale.wordpress.com/ – loads of “I remember that” moments about children’s literature. Getting me all excited for when our little guy can read.
Happy Sunday
