Tiny Dancer
Betsy has just started dance classes with the teacher we’ve been with since Milla was 18 months old. Having watched Milla and Monty dance weekly since she was a few days old Betsy knows the routine but I was still concerned she would find the transition from the sidelines to centre stage a little difficult.
She started off hesitantly but soon found her feet; racing around after the teacher arm outstretched for a hand to hold, her tutu bouncing above those chubby baby legs of hers. She is filled with joie de vivre and a boundless thirst for adventure that one.
The seasons shift; Autumn is creeping in and time is turning. This is the first year in six that I haven’t stepped into this season with a baby in my belly or arms. Instead, we are stepping into a new season of our family life.

I’m busy preparing for the latest Capturing Childhood course, Shooting Stories which gets started next week. We still have some places left for our first class if you’d like to join us.

She is adorable and I love her outfit! x
She looks adorable in her tutu. What a lovely new chapter to be entering. Mine starts in November and I am really excited too. I have been pregnant/breastfeeding for 8 years near enough and am looking forward to moving on with our lives to the next stage.
I think I have a year or more of bf left but it’s the beginning of the end!
Oh bless – a proper little dancer and those little legs ‘oh my’
