The Cure for Anything…
2012 August 3
Every time we visit the shore I wonder why we’re not here more often.
This week we headed to the beach to celebrate a birthday. There was a stiff breeze, a sandy picnic and hours spent soaking up the rhythm of the waves.
British weather being what it is meant that at moments we had blazing sun and others dark clouds. The pictures above were taken moments apart as the storm clouds rolled over.
But of course, this is how I like it.
The cure for anything is salt water – sweat, tears or the sea. Isak Dinesen

There’s nothing like the coast to unveil all that’s big, all that’s small and unwrap all that’s important. Mmmmm its been too long since I’ve heard the sound of the waves or felt the unknotting it does to the soul.
Sounds and looks like it was birthday bliss. x Happy Birthday (who?)

Sun kissed and sand blasted – there is nothing like the sea air – natures natural tonic.
Have a fabulous weekend

I feel exactly the same every time we get to the beach. Space to breathe and think and so much space. I can physically see it have an effect on my husband, his stress blows away across the sea. We are always so happy by the coast.
