Out and About
Oh my goodness – doesn’t it feel amazing to get outside in between rain showers at the moment? Ordinarily at this time of year I’d be taking the children out for long days but our rhythm has changed since school came along so I’m not feeling quite so cooped up as I might.
We had hoped that this week would bring a resolution one way or another with Mr Kat’s former employer but sadly things have been postponed. It is all very frustrating and I would love nothing more than a little wallow. But in all honesty I am so far past the point of caring. Getting what is owed would make a huge difference to our family but as we have learned to live without it I’m sure we can manage another few weeks. Remind me of this when you see me selling the furniture on eBay!
Still, while there is tedium and frustration there is also joy and creativity. The first Collect the Moments class are inspiring me daily, I’m still filled with happiness after attending one of the most wonderful weddings ever over the weekend and we’re inching closer to moving Betsy and Monty into their room. Life is still filled with daily beauty.
Recently I have been getting out virtually. You can find me talking about the. best. place. ever. over at Sisters Guild’s blog. I adore their blog and always love popping in for a chat.
Aaand, if you pick up a copy of Anorak Magazine (simply the most fantastic children’s magazine ever) you will find my playdough recipe. A complete honour to be a little part of such a fantastic publication (and Milla is thrilled as this is her second submission having had a picture in Ploc last year!)
