Milla Livingston Seagull

2012 June 18

Milla and her scooter have become one. Scooting is no longer about going places but about the art  of scooting itself.

Since Milla was sent a brand new scooter by the kind folks at Micro Scooters this obsession has stepped up a gear. The Union Jack colours have been happily received as ‘it’s just like at school Mama.’ And she has proudly taken it to Jubilee celebrations decked out in red, white and blue herself.

With focus switching to the Olympics I can only imagine the red, white and blue fever will increase – I may even buy that bunting the children asked for.

Micro Scooters themselves are a creation of pure genius. Having owned Mini-Micros for the last few years we are very much a scooter family with even Betsy trying to get in on the action. The intuitive steering-through-leaning system has developed their balance and anticipation. If you need to start walking at a pace faster than half an mile an hour then investing in a scooter is the way forward.

Milla is riding a Maxi Micro Scooter which is suitable from 6 – 12 years and below are the limited edition range of Union Jack Mini Micro Scooters all of which are available alongside Union Jack accessories from Micro Scooters.

I was sent Milla’s scooter courtesy of Micro Scooters. For more information about this kind of post please read my disclosure for readers. Kat xoxo

Jealous. Lola has a crappy scooter and needs a microscooter. I really wish I had invested.

thanks so much for your kind review Kat. We are delighted that Milla is enjoying her scooter and we hope that her and her scooter “become one” even more now (if such a thing is possible)

We have a mini and regular micro scooter and though they are expensive, they are super wheels. My son and his best friend have a great time on theirs. Sometimes it looks like they are snowboarding the way they weave around. Having the double wheel at the front makes it easier for the trailing leg not to get caught. I think they will stand the test of time and it’s good to know you can get spare parts for repairs too. Worth every penny for the fun they get from them.

both mine ADORE theirs, so glad we went for micro scooters. Ize has been glued to his since he was 2. Now he’s 4 and we still use it every time we go outdoors (we have been through 2 brakes and worn out numerous pairs of wellies practising ‘skills’!) Worth every penny!
