I am so proud and full of joy for my country today.
This afternoon while my children napped I watched the debate in the house of commons. Rolling my eyes at some and cheering for others. The feeling of hope seemed to be carried through the afternoon and into the evening vote.
Calls for order, shouts of aye and no before they were sent to vote.
400-175. A majority. A great majority bringing with it just one amazing thing to come out of parliament in recent times.
So proud to have finally witnessed it.
