Like the Ambassador’s Reception…
…we are being spoiled.
Having seen Betsy’s obsession with scooters and, like many of my readers who commented and tweeted, Micro Scooters thought that Betsy would do well with her own toddler sized version.
They were right, Betsy loves having her own scooter. She started off quite suspicious of the seat as the regular scooters don’t have seats but once she had taken a couple of rides there was no stopping her.
The O-bar and seat attach to a regular scooter in place of the T-bar (which comes with the scooter to upgrade later). As it is a regular micro scooter the responsiveness, balance and ease of use are all exactly the same. In some cases I’ve had to hold Betsy back as she tries to race down our slight hill-of-a-street after Monty. I would definitely stick to flat ground for as long as possible given that they pick up speed quite quickly.
There is no doubt about it – this is one massive hit and for once Betsy is the one with the most coveted scooter in the house!
With thanks to Micro Scooters for sending Betsy her Mini Micro O Bar Scooter. Suitable for ages 1+ and available from just £29.95 for the O Bar and seat on their own.

its probably a good thing Theo isn’t going to be with me at the weekend, as there would be a toddler wrestling match over that scooter!
Ooooh, it’s so tempting. My Little H would love that. They are a very similar age and I already have the microscooter….
Wheeeee!!!!! Love seeing my kids bombing it on their scooters, though the hill at the start of the school run means that I’m having to drag them both up it with the help of a couple of handbags around the handlebars :)
You know you can get special scooter pullers now but your way does sound more fun!
I bought F a micro scooter with seat for her 2nd birthday and she loves it – although she’s yet to learn how to scoot herself along. I think it’s because we need an even bit of ground for her to practice on – our uneven patio is a bit of a hazard! Incidentally, I bought the scooter after seeing it featured on Bambino Goodies!
