High Summer

I’m getting my annual giddy feeling as the end of term draws close. Although how is it not here already?

This hot weather is too much for me and so our recent days have been spent in water as much as possible.

Still, after such a long Winter this Summer is a gift and we are running towards it. We even have a couple of trips booked (much to the fury of our Cat who refuses to acknowledge the house sitters).

First we will be headed to Feather Down Farms to enjoy the weekend I won in their competition – I can already hear the morning bacon sizzling and the children playing with new friends.

Later in the holidays we will be off to Just So Festival. My goodness, this will be our third year there and it is the highlight of the children’s summer. Just So has a magic all of its own which puts its arms around you as soon as you arrive. I heard this evening that there are fewer than thirty family weekend tickets remaining so if you are wavering act fast!

Here are my videos for both Feather Down Farm and Just So Festival for you to enjoy…

Have a great summer Kat. We have spent a lot of time at the beach, but have had a lot of sea fret these last four days!

I am looking forward to long summer days with those I love.

that’s so great that you won! Have a terrific break. Just so looks fab too – if only I was more of a happy camper I could really be persuaded to leave my bed behind and venture to such a festival.
