Four
2011 June 8
Today I watched my four year old boldly walk into her future classroom. Just three days after her fourth birthday she’s already stepping into a whole new stage of her life.
I can’t help but feel sad to be seeing our days at home come to an end. I am proud seeing her grow and flourish yet I will miss her so much.
I wonder where the next year will take us?

Sniff. Big day for her and for you. But I’m sure she’ll love the new adventure.
She will, she will.
I felt the same when Jamie went to school but it’s amazing how you add an extra layer to your relationship once they’re out in the world this way. It’s magic :)
As an aside, how is she going to school this year? Maia has to wait a whole ‘nother year!
They go as ‘rising fives’ in our county. Which is totally rubbish.
I am moving to England so I can send Maia to school now.
Ha ha ha (move in next door?)
she will love it – and you’ll be waiting
fabulous picture x
I love her first day of school outfit! Hope it went well x
She looks fabulous as ever. I feel sad too. Don’t want S to go until next year but the boyf says “In Africa, I started school at 2″. Lies I tell you.
In theory we have the choice to wait until her fifth birthday but would mean her missing nine months her contempories would be there for so not genuine choice. Two, sweet cheeses!
