Forever Nigella 6: Sea Fish and Eat It Round Up

2011 July 2
by Kat

It has been a whole month of cooking for Forever Nigella 6: Sea Fish and Eat It and I’ve loved all of the new blogs I’ve been introduced to in the process. I love seeing which recipes others pick out, ones I may have flicked past but look at in a different light seeing them cooked.

1. Lemony Salmon and Cherry Tomato Cous Cous from Sarah at Scrumptious Sally  2. Shrimp Cocktail from Veronica at My Catholic Kitchen  3. Crab and Saffron Tart from Nazima at Working London Mummy (extra points for finding crab from Seafood and Eat It!) 4. Linguine with Chilli, Crab and Watercress from Sarah at Scrumptious Sally (a second delicious entry – looks perfect for eating outside as the sun goes down) 5. Mirin Glazed Salmon from Jo at Comfort Bites.

6. Sea Bass with Raisins and Saffron from Sarah at Simply Cooked (she says it looks ugly but tastes amazing) 7. Pantry Paella from Ren at Fabulicious Food  8. Mauritian Prawn Curry from Lo at A Taste of My Life 9. Pantry Paella from Aveen at Baking Obsessively 10. Asian Spiced Kedgeree from Elizabeth at A Girl in Her Kitchen  11. Seared Mustard-Coated Salmon from Janice at Farmersgirl Kitchen 12. Nursery Fish Pie from Lauren Hairston  13. Goujons of Sole with Dill Mayonnaise from Yummy Chunklet (have you ever heard a cuter name for a blog?)  14. Lemony Salmon with Cherry Tomato Cous Cous from Helene at I Cook With Butter.

15. Barbecued Sea Bass with Preserved Lemons from Sarah at Maison Cupcake 16. Quick Calamari and Salsa Verde from me!

Forever Nigella 7 is hosted by Soul Curry and the theme is Iced Dreams – perfectly timed for the heatwave we’re having (or is it over already?). I shall be flicking through my books for something cool and delicious to enter.
