I love fish, but usually just end up making fish pie if I manage to get a bargain of fresh fish on the reduced shelf. Will definitely think of making my own fish cakes next time. Yummy :)

I love your recipes. This one sounds like a hearty but easy fix, especially if you freeze for later on. I guess I’ll be putting fish on my grocery list this week.

We make fishcakes from time to time, but hadn’t thought of freezing so will def try that as am sure we’d then have them more often. I like to do them with some corriander and serve with sweet chill sauce for the grown ups!

Mine loved the faraway tree stories, reading Enid Blyton goes against the grain for me but they love them. My eldest two 7 and 9 now have such diverse tastes they read alone, but Megan is still up for a bit of Dr Seuss.
