And All the Street Lamps Were Lit
There are times when I’m in danger of becoming a hermit. During the day life is busy enough but come the evening I curl up in front of the laptop and rarely go out.
Recently I’ve been thinking about the balance in my life. Do you find you don’t spend enough time nurturing the non-essential aspects of life? I certainly find it easy to neglect socialising in favour of wrapping myself up in work.
In this spirit I sent an email round to five of my favourite people who were all just as excited as me to go out for the evening. The now unfamiliar landscape of our town on a Friday night was a backdrop for fabulous chat, food and laughs.
Isn’t it the best? Belly laughing with your buddies, putting the world to rights and taking time to really have a break. This, this I can find more time for.
