Hello, I am so glad you have joined me here.

Who I am:

My name is Kat, I’m a Mama, wife, photographer, friend, home cook, modern homemaker, seldom housekeeper, design lover and know-all.

I believe that the love and energy we put out into the world comes back to us. I believe that love, kindness and trust are our greatest strengths. I believe all humans are equal. I am a feminist.

I have been writing blogs since last century. Housewife Confidential began in 2007 when I became a Mama and found peace in my soul.

Housewife Confidential is part an open-hearted diary of our family life and part family cookbook. Both shared with joy.

I live in Winchester, England with my husband, three children (Milla born 2007, Monty born 2009 and Betsy born 2011) and a grumpy cat.

What I do:

I am self employed and work on a range of projects.

Two of my big passions in life are photography and film making; specifically to record family life. From this passion a marvellous collaboration was born and, together with Kat Goldin, I run Capturing Childhood. We have a range of online photography and film courses designed to nurture your technical and creative skills.

I am features editor at Bambino Goodies where I have been cool hunting since 2008. The site draws a monthly unique readership of approximately 90k design-loving parents.

I work with online and offline businesses to improve their social media reach, develop strategies, expand their customer base, implement websites and build their brand. I create and manage social media profiles and blogs for indie businesses – find out more about what I offer on my services page.
