Christmas Hampers from Interflora
There are few things nicer than opening a basket packed full of delicious treats and eats. Interflora recently sent me one of their Christmas hampers, a girl is hardly going to turn down an offer like that now is she?
Interflora’s hampers come in all shapes and sizes from a Merry Christmas Tray for £29.99 to The Decadence (or ‘Whoa, Mama’ as I would call it) for £375 they have something in every price bracket. Available for next day delivery they could help you out of a last minute bind!
The contents have a range of sweet, savoury, alcoholic and seasonal goodies. I was sent a Silent Night Hamper at £80 which contained:
- Barkers 4pk mince pies
- Border Biscuits Blackberry & Apple crumbles
- Island Bakery Organics Chocolate Limes 150g
- TOCC Dark rich fruit iced slab with decoration 400g
- Hamlet assortment Belgian chocolates 125g
- Lessiters Gold & green Chrismas truffles 85g
- Claire’s Handmade Old English apple chutney 200g
- Edinburgh tea & coffee company after dinner coffee 113g
- Haribo jelly beans 200g
- Vineyard fine foods Christmas preserve 200g
- Dormen Baked Nuts & fruit 160g
- Convivial yorkshire sweet chilli & lime crisps 100g
- De Kroes green olives & Italian cheese savoury crackers 75g
- Maxwell & Franks Christmas pudding in black box 454g
- Don Cayetano Cabernet Sauvignon 75cl
- Don Cayetano Sauvignon Blanc 75cl
- Robin Reed Gold leaf mini tree crackers 8×6″
all in a traditional wicker lidded hamper. Quite a spread to add to your Christmas fare.
I think there is something romantic about getting a hamper. Opening a creaky wicker chest to reveal layer upon layer of fine food you wouldn’t have bought for yourself. It reminds me of the care packages and midnight feasts you’d get in old Enid Blyton books.
We loved opening ours up, each of us drawn to different items within the basket. Milla and Monty were amazed by the jelly beans (we don’t really do sweets) and thought Mr Kat’s antics were hilarious as he showed them how he could catch them in his mouth.
Oohs and ahhs aside I liked the fact that the goods inside the hamper came from a range of small suppliers. The hamper was well stocked and had a good mix of foods so you wouldn’t feel like you were over-flowing with one type of food.
So Interflora aren’t just for flowers (or at Christmas perhaps poinsettias) you can also find gifts for her and Christmas hampers all delivered quickly to the door.
Interflora requested that specific links were included in this post in exchange for our hamper.
