Chicago Town Takeaway Limited Edition X-Factor Pizza

It’s a long time since Mr Kat was indulged with a takeaway pizza but as a night out for me coincided with the offer of a Chicago Town Takeaway Limited Edition X-Factor Pizza; he gladly set aside his plans for cheese on toast.

I was surprised that they are made with fresh dough which even though frozen rises as it cooks. At £3.79 (and currently on offer in Sainsbury’s I noticed) it is a fraction of the price you’d pay for a biked pizza.

This pizza is one for the meat lovers, it has: extra-large pepperoni, spicy beef, peppers, red onion and a special BBQ sauce stuffed-crust. Big flavours in every bite especially as the crust is stuffed too.

Compared to a takeaway pizza Mr Kat thought it stood up well – packed full of flavour and ready in 20 minutes. While we’re not a family who eat a great deal of convenience foods but I wouldn’t mind buying one of these again if we were pushed for time – cheaper and as tasty as a takeaway.
