Everyday Shoe Shopping with Clarks

Shortly after the purchase of Milla’s first ever school shoes came the realisation that she would need everyday shoes for all the time she’s not at school. Having dragged out her canvas Summer shoes and wellies for as long as possible I was about to take the plunge when Clarks contacted me to ask if I would like to try out their fitting service and shoes it was a no brainer.

We headed into town for our fitting which was the first surprise to me – did you know you could book appointment slots? No? Me either – I’m kind of kicking myself after having waited half an hour for an appointment in other shoes shops before now. We were served by Rachel in Winchester who was friendly, helpful and delivered the kind of good customer service which you’d go out of your way for.

I had wondered about getting Milla some boots as at £42 they were around the value of the voucher we were sent. The boots weren’t a great fit and Milla was far more interested in a pair of purple shoes. Well how could she not love purple shoes?

So the purple shoes came home with us and are now the revered everyday shoes – smart and playful. Milla is 100% happy and has taken to dressing in purple to coordinate.
