Auction to Launch Monday at 12

Thank you all for your patience. We are finally able to tell you that the auction will go live on Monday 30th November at 12pm. Bidding will last until Sunday 6th December at 6pm. All credit to mycharitywins.com for creating our bespoke auction in mere days. Woot woot!

We are still waiting on confirmation of Just Giving registration for the charity. Once we have it the raffle can be added to the event.

Thanks to massive help from Sally I have written and sent a press release out promoting the event. I am absolutely sick at the idea of actually talking to the media – be prepared for some virtual hand holding!

In the press release I included the names of a few bloggers who have made a huge contribution in their efforts to make this event happen. They are: Karen of The Rubbish Diet who has brought in a truly luxurious auction lot as well as blogging about the event and threatening to put me on local radio. Liz of Violet Posy who sent huge waves of traffic our way with her post on Sunday and has also been helping me with ‘technical issues’ (more of that later). Liz of Living With Kids who has scooped us some amazing lots. Sian of Yummy Mummy Tips who has pulled together a bumper lot from her client list which will make your eyes pop. Gigi of Mums Rock who has not only persuaded her contacts to dig deep but will be giving us space on her blog to promote the event. And, deliberately saved for last, Natalie of Bambino Goodies who immediately gave us her full support and allowed us to use Bambino Goodies as the virtual ballroom for our charity event. Despite being up to her eyes in work Natalie has given me huge amounts of time this week and sent me some outrageous jokes to keep the spirits up.

There are many more people out there who are in line for a thank you and it is coming! Incidentally, if you are at the zoo on Sunday I will be too and I look forward to sharing an awkward hello there.
